Somatic practices are the bridge to understanding these signals.

They show us how to ask our bodies what they need.

By tuning into your body’s innate wisdom, you can learn to take necessary breaks, move differently, and process stress more effectively.

—You can put the doom scrolling down.
—Make decisions you trust and feel good about.
—And can take a breath before you yell at your kids, partner, dog or other poor sap who happens to cross your threshold when all that tension you’ve been holding down and ignoring explodes like vesuvius.

Somatics is about coming home to your body.

—It’s about learning from and with your body, engaging in a heartfelt conversation with it.
—It’s about understanding what happens in your body when certain thoughts or worries arise, and listening to the subtle cues before they manifest as pain or discomfort, like the digestive issues and chronic pain I endured for years.
—It’s about remembering that you can make thoughtful choices IN THE MOMENT and don’t have to fawn, appease, people-please or explode in anger - other options, like staying chill and asking curious questions, really do exist!

It’s not just about knowing in your mind which nervous system state you’re in, but feeling it in your body and recognizing it so you can give yourself what you need instead of habitually reacting.

Understanding what’s stored inside you, so you can build a deeper, more compassionate relationship with yourself.

Somatic practices bring awareness to your body’s experience. It’s not just the story in your head; it’s what your body needs to tell you.

Each day, from Monday, June 17th through Wednesday, June 19th, I'll lead you through somatic practices on a 45-60 -minute Zoom call. Then, I'll share helpful homework for you to help build on what you learned during the live call. It's gonna be so fun!

Here's the dates/times for each call:

    And just who am I to help you?

    I'm Victoria Albina and I’m a certified somatics coach, holistic nurse practitioner, and breathwork facilitator with over 20 years of experience in health and wellness. I have helped hundreds of women to heal themselves: mind, body and spirit.

    My most important credential is having healed myself from a lifetime of being sick, sad, anxious and of course: codependent. I was riddled with self-doubt, shame, guilt and put other people’s opinions above my own. I didn’t set boundaries and I didn’t know how to even start. I had wicked Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), exhausting anxiety and depression, and a boatload of adrenal yuck. And through it all, I didn’t even realize that codependent thinking was a major root cause of my physical and mental health struggles.

    I thought my mind and body were the problem — I had no clue they were also the solution.

    Finally, I got sick and tired of being so sick and tired and I learned how to heal myself. And I've helped so many folx to heal themselves using the methods I'll show you in Finding Embodiment.
